Edit with AI lets you modify existing flows by describing the changes you want. AI analyzes your current flow and applies the requested updates while preserving the original structure.

What Is Edit with AI?

Already have a flow but need to adjust it? Instead of editing block by block, just describe the changes:
“Add an NPS question at the end of the flow”
AI:
  • ✅ Analyzes the existing flow
  • ✅ Identifies where changes should be made
  • ✅ Preserves the original blocks and connections
  • ✅ Adds the new elements you request

How to Use It

1. Open the Bot in the Editor

Navigate to the bot you want to modify and open the flow editor.

2. Click the Edit with AI Icon

In the editor header, click the magic wand icon next to the undo and redo buttons.

3. Describe the Changes

In the modal that opens, describe what you want to modify:
Add a 1-to-5 star rating block
at the end of the flow and save it in a variable named "score"

4. Wait and Review

AI will apply the changes and the page will reload with the updated flow.

Example Changes

Add an email question right after asking for the name
Add a text block thanking the user at the end
Change the initial greeting to "Hello! Welcome to Bella Pizza!"
Make the messages more casual and friendly
Add an "Other" option to the product choice buttons
Include "Prefer not to say" as an option in the phone field
If the customer chooses "Complaint", ask for more details.
If they choose "Praise", just thank them.
Add an AI Agent block that answers general questions
before handing the conversation off to human support

Cost

Each AI edit consumes approximately 50 credits from your workspace.
The cost may vary depending on the complexity of the changes and the size of the current flow.

Tips for Better Results

1

Be Specific

“Add an email question” is better than “add more fields.”
2

Reference Existing Blocks

“After the block that asks for the name…” helps AI find the right place.
3

One Change at a Time

For complex updates, break them into smaller steps.
4

Always Review

Verify that the changes match what you expected.

Limitations

  • Very complex changes may not be interpreted correctly
  • AI may visually reposition blocks on the canvas
  • Existing integrations are preserved but not automatically modified
Always test the flow in preview after editing to make sure it still works correctly.
